AFTER EFFECTS

Using Adobe After Effects, you can make many different kinds of animations and videos.
I've added my favorite After Effects project below, so go ahead and click the play button to watch the video!

    After finding tons of great (free) stock videos online, including footage of colored ink being squirted into water, I came up with the idea to create a commercial for the liquid drink enhancement product called MiO.
    The purpose of my After Effects video is to show a cohesive and eye-catching (and somewhat eccentric) commercial. I wanted the audience to watch this commercial and not be able to divert their focus for a single instant.
    Not only did I use footage of ink in water (to represent the MiO liquid enhancer being poured), but I also tried to infuse random bits of colorful imagery from everyday life.
    I attempted to appeal to the human senses of vision, memory, recognition, and curiosity in order to motivate viewers to consume MiO.
    The most challenging part of this project was trying to match up the individual video clips with the tempo/beat of the song I chose to accompany it.
    The message conveyed is simple and straight-forward: drink MiO because it will “COLOR YOUR WORLD.”
